Meal Prep Series- Sautéed Kale

As promised, go to veggie recipe number 2- quick sautéed kale! My preference when preparing kale is to sauté it. When it’s cooked down, texture is never an issue (I find raw kale can sometimes be a little tough). The recipe below has only 5 ingredients and takes no more than 20 minutes to make. Enjoy!



  • 1 bunch of kale
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1-2 tbs chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste


Cut your kale into bite size pieces, discarding all pieces of the stem. In a medium to large pan, combine all of your ingredients except for the broth. On medium-low heat, start to wilt down your kale. As the kale begins to soften, add in your broth and turn your heat down to low. Cover your kale and cook until it has softened- roughly 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and enjoy!
